Well, great.
Apparently Monstock released a second wave of these things with limited editions and variant colors. It was just two weeks ago and I missed it. I don’t really think I can Google Translate the Japanese language well enough to have made it through the lottery process and checkout, but I’m upset nonetheless. This picture, by Tatsurus, is awesome. Actually all of his pictures are awesome. He seems to have a pretty rockin’ vinyl toy collection too.

Freaks
It’s been a slow summer (vacation), but I think I deserve it.
Here’s one of five characters I designed for the illustrated invitation for a gala called “The Freaks Come Out at Night.”

One More Thing
It took me almost a year, but I finally copyrighted my font, Ganymede Takeover (among other things). The US Copyright Office actually has a cheap and easy digital service. The font is now available for download on its page within my main site. I’m also submitting it to a number of design blogs and free font sites in the hope of someday seeing it pop up in the work of other designers.
In an unrelated note, I finally started using my Dribbble account.

New Naturalism
I’ve updated the main page with my thesis project, New Naturalism and the exhibition poster. I’m not so excited about the layout of the page (I’m just learning jQuery) but I’m proud of the work itself. I’ve posted brief explanations of a few of the layouts. I might also post the paper. It would be nice if after I wrote a thirty page paper someone actually read it.
